This CCD image was taken with the FLI Dream Machine,
1024 x 1024 SITe chip camera. It was the result of 15, one
minute exposures through a Hydrogen-alpha filter. The image was acquired
with MaxIm DL and processed with Photoshop.
The image was taken from Hidden Valley Observatory,
on my property in Soquel, overlooking the Monterey Bay in California.
It was shot through a Pentax 400mm f/4 SDUF II lens specifically made for
astronomical imaging.
