This CCD image was taken with an SBIG ST8E camera. It is the combination of 10, 5-minute exposures with a red filter, then 5 red, 5 green and 10 blue, the last three binned 2 x2 (RRGB). The images were processed using MaxIm DL and Photoshop. It was shot through a Tak 106.
The image was taken from Hidden Valley Observatory,
on my property in Soquel, overlooking the Monterey Bay in California.
